Frustrating

I just had a ridiculously frustrating day at the tables today.  I jumped back up to 200nl as I finished playing my 10k hands at 100nl and I fell right into a shit fan.  I played relatively well only making two real mistakes.. but just couldn't win flip situations whatsoever.  The games seem to be a little stronger then usual, but I felt I was able to table select well and sat down where I felt I had a significant edge.  It just sucks when you continue to lose big pots when I'm either all-in preflop or on the flop with positive equity.  I'm not really pissed because I played well.. just annoyed right now.  I was reading a post on the 2+2 forums of the money leaders at this limit and saw a lot of guys I feel I'm better than on the list.  I'm really looking forward to working my way out of this downswing and get myself near the top of that list.  There is absolutely no reason why I shouldn't be one of the top winners at this limit month after month.

I'm going to do something different in August and set specific goals.  I'm not too sure what they are yet but once I come up with them I'll post them in a blog.  Basically they will be # of hands played, how much I plan on winning etc etc.  And I'll keep a running total on my blog of all the numbers... I think this will help me focus on specifics and play more hands.

Ok here are most of the hands I lost today.. I'm not going to analyze any of them because they are all pretty standard.  But you'll see how I just can't seem to have a hand hold... if I win half of the flips I have a break even day.

As you can see I never really got fucked in any of the hands.. but when you continuously lose pots like this its really tough to play well for the rest of the session.  Anyways, enough crying from me about basic flip situations like I'm a beginner.

You're going to see a refocused and better Jay in the month of August, I'm promise you that.
